Hello!

I have come to the realization that I am not a very good blogger. I look at all of these amazing blogs, and the amazing projects that they do all the time and I wonder how in the world they have time to keep up with it all?? I am a stay at home mom/housewife with 3 wonderful children and I find myself busy all the time. But I am doing the best I can, and maybe will set my goal to 1 project a week. :) Hopefully, if anyone is checking my blog out you will keep coming back and bear with me. Thanks!

Anyway :) onto the little project that I made...

I have been wanting to plant some herb plants, so I grabbed some plain terra cotta pots and a roll of jute.
On the large pot I just hot glued right around the middle of the pot. On the smaller pots I made little circles, just hot gluing as I went around them. I think they turned out pretty cute, and my herbs will look super cute in them!

Tule Easter Wreath

It has been a few days since my last post, but I have been busy working on several projects. I tend to start 1 project and jump to the next. So my goal is to focus on 1 project at a time and get it finished before I jump into a new one. So hopefully I will post fun projects every few days.
I found this cute easter wreath http://kristenscreationsonline.blogspot.com/2011/03/easter-mesh-wreath-tutorial.html
(take a minute to look at this site, such cute ideas!) I decided to make my own.

You need:
A plain grapevine wreath
2 or 3 colors of tule
As many different color of ribbon as you want
Eggs
Cute sign to go in middle
Fake flowers

I already had this wreath, a plain round one would have been easier but this worked. First you want to cut your tule in about 18 to 24 inches long. Then you are going to tie them around the wreath. Next, you can add some fun ribbon. I painted my eggs then hot glued them on. Then stick some fake flowers in. Last thing is to wire your sign on. You can be creative and change it up using different items, or colors. That is what makes it fun!

Ending Results For February Budget

I have just been tallying up my February grocery bill and I am SO excited to say I only went $13.06 over budget!! I set my goal at $225.00 per month, that includes diapers, cleaning supplies all toiletries and food. My overall dollar spent was $238.06. I am thrilled knowing that a few months ago it was easily $400 - $500 per month! Couponing is amazing!!
